Empowering School Safety Through Communication: Air Comm Partners in School Radio Upgrade

At Air Comm, we believe that reliable communication is more than a tool—it’s a lifeline. That’s why we’re proud to support the recent initiative at Cactus Canyon Junior High, where enhanced safety just got a powerful boost.

Thanks to a generous grant from the True Blue Foundation, students and staff at the junior high now benefit from a new set of radios designed to improve response times and strengthen day-to-day communication across campus.

The initiative was led by the School Resource Officer (SRO) team at Apache Junction Police Department (AJPD), who identified the need for more dependable communication tools to help protect and serve students. With their proactive efforts—and the partnership between AJPD, Air Comm, the Apache Junction Unified School District, and the True Blue Foundation—this vision is now a reality.
