In-Building Signal
Amplifiers for Radio

Get better radio coverage across your building with bi-directional amplifiers & distributed antenna systems from Air Comm.

Expand Coverage

Boost two-way radio coverage across your building, even hard-to-reach areas.

Improve Safety

Make sure staff & first responders are connected during an emergency.

Ensure Reliability

Radio users can enjoy consistent connectivity on their devices.

What are DAS & BDA (also known as in-building amplifiers)?

A Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is a network of antennas designed to boost and sustain wireless signals throughout a facility where there may otherwise be little or no coverage.

Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDAs) function within a Distributed Antenna System to amplify those wireless signals. These systems can be designed for either two-way radio or cellular connectivity.

Why is having an in-building amplifier system for two-way radio connectivity important?

Extended Coverage

Get sufficient coverage across your building, even in areas that were previously lacking signal, like stairwells or underground tunnels. Consistent coverage in your facility is crucial to maintaining operational efficiency and keeping people safe in emergencies.

Enhanced Safety

Reliable radio coverage allows first responders to more effectively serve a building’s occupants in the event of an emergency. A DAS/BDA can make all the difference when it comes to keeping building occupants safe.

Often, It’s Required

First responders rely on having code-compliant coverage on multiple frequency bands for radio communications during emergencies. If a building doesn’t meet Emergency Responder Radio Coverage (ERRC) code, a DAS/BDA system is necessary.
